Firework Buyback Event
In partnership with LAFD and LAPD, I am hosting our 4th annual Anonymous Fireworks Buyback Event at the Brand Park Parking Lot on Saturday, June 22nd from 9 AM to 12 PM. This is an ongoing effort that I implemented after listening to constituent concerns regarding the hazards associated with illegal fireworks. Illegal fireworks are a public safety threat that negatively affect veterans with post traumatic stress disorder, those with sensory issues, our pets and increase fire danger throughout our communities while polluting our air. I hope everyone will join us and turn in illegal fireworks to receive a free gift card while supplies last!
